世界最大毕加索博物馆建造计划取消

据相关，在法国普罗旺斯艾克斯地区建造一座容纳世界最大毕加索作品收藏的博物馆的计划已被取消。该计划于2018年2月宣布，是毕加索的继女凯瑟琳·于坦-布雷（Catherine Hutin-Blay）的想法，她的母亲是毕加索的第二任妻子杰奎琳·罗克（Jacqueline Roque）。

  博物馆原定于2021年开放，所在地为Prêcheurs修道院（Couvent des Prêcheurs）。按照原计划，博物馆将在超过16000平方英尺的展览空间内展出于坦-布雷在母亲去世后继承的约1000幅毕加索作品。展出作品数量将超过位于巴黎、昂蒂布、巴塞罗那和马拉加的毕加索博物馆藏品数。

  在随后的几年里，于坦-布雷和艾克斯市议会试图敲定一个双方都满意的销售安排。根据卓思安·马斯尼在Facebook上发表的一份声明，该计划最终失败的原因是市政府要求于坦-布雷接受一项“转让条款，保证这个空间……未来至少15年内都是博物馆”。由于于坦-布雷拒绝接受该条款，市政府取消了出售。市长指出，如果于坦-布雷接受该条款，并“提出一份可以在这个文化场所展出的毕加索作品的不完全清单，我们将欣然重启这个美丽的项目。”
